British Science Week 2022

During the week beginning 14th March, Awsworth Primary School celebrated British Science Week.

This year, the theme of the week was 'growth'. The children discussed what growth could mean in the STEM world and what they could do to continue to develop their growth mindsets.

Each different phase looked at exciting activities from their own curriculums during the week.

On Friday, the whole school took part in an investigation to see if 'taller children run faster'. There were some mixed findings with certain year groups believing this was true and others disagreeing based upon their results.
