Every year, the children in Lower Key Stage 2 have the chance to go to Losehill Hall Youth Hostel in Castleton for a three day, two night residential visit.

This year the action packed two days had a Stone Age theme with activities including: investigating a cave, shelter building, fire-making, feeding the animals, learning about a Stone Age roundhouse, bread making and then cooking it on an open fire and a history walk. Our evening activities included cave painting and creating our own clay faces!
