On Thursday 15th July, all of LKS2 were able to visit Chatsworth and what a fantastic day we all had. We were able to explore the farmyard and enjoy encountering animals including: horses, ponies, pigs (and piglets), goats, sheep and more in between. In small groups we enjoyed a tractor ride around parts of the vast grounds, where we were able to learn about the history and some fascinating facts about different parts of the grounds. Some groups were even able to spot red deer! Classes chose to explore towards The Hunting Tower up some incredibly steep steps! Of course we found time to enjoy the playground and simply enjoy the beautiful scenery.
The children all behaved excellently and represented the school really well. What a lovely way to enjoy such a beautiful place and a summer's day. Please take time to enjoy some pictures, below.
