Day 4
Today we have conquered many challenges with Maple staring the day with canoeing, 3 groups completed the gorge walk, 2 groups took to the hills for scrambling, Birch and Beech have both taken on the biking challenge, while Oak group went climbing followed by raft building. A terrific final day of activities with the campfire to look forward to this evening!
Day 3
On day 3 Maple, Birch and Beech group spent a day mountain walking with 2 groups walking the Llantysilio Ridge. Ash group have been canoeing and biking, while Oak group have tried their hand at bush craft and canoeing! A fantastic day for all, where everyone strived to achieve their BEST! After dinner we gathered for some group photos and a spot of orienteering, a fabulous end to the day in the evening sunshine.
Day 2
A great first day of activities saw Maple group off on a bike ride in the morning then gorge walking in the afternoon, Oak group took the scenic route for a valley walk, while Ash group set off for the hills. Birch and Beech groups both set out this morning for a scramble then canoeing this afternoon. Lots of personal challenges but everyone has had a fab day and been brilliant!
Day One
A beautiful sunny day, lunch stop at the picturesque Chirk Castle, arrival at the centre followed by orientation, then dinner and evening activities of either night line or the rope course! A great first day....
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
